Is There a Proper Way (Position Wise) to Pray?

The Bible tells of praying in many ways (kneeling, standing, with lifted hands, etc.) I’ve always felt that one should either stand or kneel to pray.

However, this is not possible for those who may be bed-ridden or confined to wheelchairs. I truly believe God hears all prayers offered in spirit and truth, as He commands us to worship Him. I don’t think whether we’re kneeling or sitting on a sofa matters so much as whether we’re focusing on Him and submitting to His will.
