The Redeemed

Based on Psalm 107:1-9, 43

Think back on everything that the Israelites suffered. They wandered in the wilderness, they were exiled from their God-given homeland, but what happened? God rescued them out of their troubles!

We, the member’s of Christ’s Church, are part of the same family of God as ancient Israel. God’s goodness, mercy, and promises are for all of us.

<> When we are in need, all we need to do is call on God, and God will answer. It’s not about our perceived personal worthiness or lack thereof, how much of our paycheck we’ve tithed, or outward personal standards that ourselves or others place on us.

God loves you, wants to help you, and will continue to transform you. Keep your heart and mind open to the work of the Spirit in your life.

For This Week: The next time a crisis or problem hits, no matter how trivial, take it to God in prayer immediately. Praise God in advance for the help that will be received.
