I’m posting interesting things that I’ve found, but wasn’t able to get to earlier in the year due to tech problems. Please bear with me 🙂
One of the first was this article from Jakob Sokol, which has some good stuff to reflect on, regardless of your religious background. 12 Things Happy People Do Differently I wanted to focus on a few points that really stuck out for me:
- Gratitude – this will get you much farther than just about any earthly measure of success. I’ve found that the various trials of life are much easier to cope with when yhou have an attitude of gratitude for things, even in bad situations.
- Acts of kindness – there are so many ways you can help someone, even if you don’t have much yourself. Little things like giving your change to a charity or paying for a sandwich for the person in front of you may make a difference.
- Have good coping skills – No matter what life throws at you, you’ll get through it much more easily if you know how to cope. Don’t be afraid to be creative!
What points were the most meaningful for you?
