Prayer Requests (Commemoration of John Bunyan)

Christ, our light and salvation, encourage your Church to live out its faith in a true way.

In the Anglican Cycle of Prayer, we pray for the Diocese of Fredicton, Canada and  The Most Revd Claude Weston Miller

We also pray for our friends in Christ in the American Catholic Church in the United States

Give to all leaders of nations and those in authority of love for you, and let them persevere in the ways of justice and peace.

We pray for the people of Brazil.

Continued prayers are requested for those in the path of tropical Storm Isaac

Comfort and reveal yourself as the God of healing to all in need, especially:

Shanti has had a stomach tumor removed, please pray for her.

Gayle and Earl are minister to a neighbor and her son, the husband is in jail after assaulting her. Please pray for their needs to be met.

Reggie has a heart anyeurism, please pray.

Irene is in the path of Hurricane Isaac, with no car or homeowner’s insurance, please pray.

Dave requires heart surgery and is dealing with red tape, please pray.

Jan Jesslal (age 6) has had a fever, please pray for him.

We give thanks for all the blessings of this life, especially for those who use the gift of writing to encourage other Christians.

May the souls of the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
