Tuesday Prayer Requests

Prayers are from the 1979 Book of Common Prayer

In peace, we pray to you, Lord God.

For all people in their daily life and work;
For our families, friends, and neighbors, and for those who
are alone.

For this community, the nation, and the world;
For all who work for justice, freedom, and peace.

We pray for the people of  the Cook Islands.
For the just and proper use of your creation;
For the victims of hunger, fear, injustice, and oppression.

For all who are in danger, sorrow, or any kind of trouble;
For those who minister to the sick, the friendless, and the
needy.

For the peace and unity of the Church of God;
For all who proclaim the Gospel, and all who seek the Truth.

In the Anglican Cycle of Prayer, we pray for Hyderabad – (Pakistan) The Rt Revd Rafique Masih

We pray for our friends in Christ in the Ukrainian Orthodox Church

For all bishops and other ministers;
For all who serve God in his Church.

We pray for Angel Tree and all other prison ministries.

For the special needs and concerns of this congregation.

Please pray for Rachel to find a job with daytime hours so she can be with her daughters more.

Evie had knee surgery and may be facing job cuts. Also, please pray for her sister Bobbie Joe, who has heart problems.

Pray that Maryanne can still stay in her house.

Jan had recovered from problems that required dialysis, please pray that she is delivered from these problems again.

Carole has been laid off, please keep her in your prayers.

From Judy: For sister Myra…please continue to pray for her arm. For Abby’s Mom, Kristin, and her unborn child. For our church secretary and her family. For our Pastor, for safe travel. For our country, for peace. For all those who are sick, physically, mentally, emotionally. For me, feeling the chills tonight and have a slight fever. May God bless you all!

Hear us, Lord;
For your mercy is great.

We thank you, Lord, for all the blessings of this life.

Kristin is not suffering a miscarriage, as originally feared, let’s give thanks!

We will exalt you, O God our King;
And praise your Name for ever and ever.

We pray for all who have died, that they may have a place in
your eternal kingdom.

Lord, let your loving-kindness be upon them;
Who put their trust in you.

 O God, you declare your almighty power chiefly in showing mercy and pity: Grant us the fullness of your grace, that we, running to obtain your promises, may become partakers of your heavenly treasure; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for
ever and ever. Amen.
