Prayer Requests for Wednesday (Commemoration of Ignatius of Antioch

O God, our heavenly Father, who raised up your faithful servant Ignatius, to be a bishop and pastor in your Church and to feed your flock: Give abundantly to all pastors the gifts of your Holy Spirit, that they may minister in your household as true servants of Christ and stewards of your divine mysteries;
through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. (1979 BCP)

 

Frankie asks prayer for her fellow church members: Barry Hammond, Harold Piver, Delores Gray, Clara Lea Milligan, Jerry LeBlanc, Ray Hines Family, Clay Wilkins, Bobby Anderson, and Junior Simmons

Bob, who has esophagal cancer, is having difficulty eating due to throat soreness. Please pray for his spiritual and physical health, as well as his son Ron, who can’t visit because of money issues.

Kenneth’s friend has an unknown illness, please pray, also pray that he knows Christ.

Frankie asks prayer for: Cordell (possible heart attack); Jessie (injured in a fall); Clay’s son (pneumonia)

Abby (age 2) has a fever and suffered a tick bite recently, please pray.

Franie is having pain, with kidney and liver troubles, and her brother Andy is still hospitalized, please continue to hold them in pray.

Pray for Breanna and Jhayna, two missing missionaries.

Please pray for Roy, recovering from hip surgery, who has been living in his car.

Delores is recovering from pneumonia, please pray.

Please pray for persecuted Christians in Nigeria, Tanzania and Egypt

Anna and her husband may have an apartment option, please pray for the funds they need.

Wayne requests prayer for: Aniyah (flu); Ella (preemie with breathing difficulties); Nina (kidney and pancreatic infection)

O God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, our only Savior, the Prince of Peace: Give us grace seriously to lay to heart the great dangers we are in by our unhappy divisions; take away all hatred and prejudice, and whatever else may hinder us from godly union and concord; that, as there is but one Body
and one Spirit, one hope of our calling, one Lord, one Faith, one Baptism, one God and Father of us all, so we may be all of one heart and of one soul, united in one holy bond of truth and peace, of faith and charity, and may with one mind and one mouth glorify thee; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
