Friday Prayer Requests

Almighty God, you have surrounded us with a great cloud of witnesses: Grant that we, encouraged by the good example of your servant Alfred the Great, may persevere in running the race that is set before us, until at last we may with him attain to your eternal joy; through Jesus Christ, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one
God, for ever and ever. Amen. (Book of Common Prayer 1979)

Please pray for all ex-convicts who are struggling with resuming a normal life.

Anna and her husband are still having landlord troubles, and are no closer to finding a new place, please pray.

Court is still going through rehabilitation, please pray he’s able to return home soon.

M. and her family need prayers. She and her husband have financial issues, and her daughter has tried to commit suicide.

Pastor Leo asks prayer for Regina and family (division); Vongai (financial breakthrough)

Brenda has had pneumonia, and is really sick from asthma, please pray for her and her husband, Roy.

Denise’s mother is recovering from intestinal surgery, please pray.

Francesca (age 6) has a bone disease, and her dad is dying, please pray.

Sally had a hernia burst, pray for her recovery and for spiritual blessings for her and her husband.

Kelly has ovarian cancer, please pray for her recovery.

Almighty God, by your Holy Spirit you have made us one with
your saints in heaven and on earth: Grant that in our earthly
pilgrimage we may always be supported by this fellowship of
love and prayer, and know ourselves to be surrounded by their
witness to your power and mercy. We ask this for the sake of
Jesus Christ, in whom all our intercessions are acceptable
through the Spirit, and who lives and reigns for ever and ever.
Amen. (Book of Common Prayer 1979)
