Prayer Requests (Feast of the Holy Name)

Eternal Father, you gave to your incarnate Son the holy name of Jesus to be the sign of our salvation: Plant in every heart, we pray, the love of him who is the Savior of the world, our Lord Jesus Christ; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, in glory everlasting. Amen. (Book of Common Prayer 1979)

In the Anglican Cycle of Prayer, we pray for Kumi – (Uganda) The Rt Revd Thomas Irigei; Kurunagala – (Ceylon) The Rt Revd Greg Shantha Kumar Francis

We also pray for our friends in Christ in the Moravian Church and the Unity of the Brethren

Our prayers are also with the people of Iceland and India

Pray for Roger’s recovery from pneumonia
