Thursday Prayer Requests (St. John Bosco)

O God, by whose grace your servant St. John Bosco, kindled with the flame of your love, became a burning and a shining light in your Church: Grant that we also may be aflame with the spirit of love and discipline, and walk before you as children of light; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. (Book of Common Prayer 1979)

In the Anglican Cycle of Prayer, we pray for Louisiana – (IV, The Episcopal Church) The Rt Revd Maurice Thompson; Luapula – (Central Africa) The Rt Revd Robert Mumbi; Lucknow – (North India) The Rt Revd Maurice Dan

We pray for our friends in Christ in the Independent Evangelical-Lutheran Church; the Japan Lutheran Church and Lanka Lutheran Church

We also pray for the people of Latvia; Lebanon and Lesotho

From Debbie Human: Please pray that God will open doors for my music ministry by providing not only open doors, but a means to get there.

Please pray that Sheela is able to get the migraine treatment she needs.

Pray for Pastor Palani’s work in India.

Suzanne recently had a difficult time with some nurses when she was treated for pneumonia, please pray for her recovery.

From Sonya: RUTH-HAS BEEN VERY SICK. DR’S CAN’T EXPLAINE WHY SHE IS VOMITING ALL THE TIME/SHE IS A DIABETIC. PLEASE PRAY FOR HER COMPLETE HEALING. SONYA-I’M SUFFERING A LOT OF PAIN & HAVING TO TAKE PAIN MEDS EVERY 4 TO 6 HOURS. ALSO, MY KIDNEYS NEED HEALING(STAGE 3 KIDNEY PROBLEMS).
