Saturday in Easter Week Prayer Requests

We thank you, heavenly Father, that you have delivered us from the dominion of sin and death and brought us into the kingdom of your Son; and we pray that, as by his death he has recalled us to life, so by his love he may raise us to eternal joys; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy
Spirit, one God, now and forever. (Book of Common Prayer 1979)

Let us pray to our Risen Lord, who invites us to share in his Resurrection.

As you equipped the apostles to preach the Gospel to all, strengthen your Church to share the Good News.

In the Anglican Cycle of Prayer, we pray for Nairobi – (Kenya) The Rt Revd Joel Waweru Mwangi; Nakuru – (Kenya) The Rt Revd Stephen Njihia Mwangi

We pray for our friends in Christ in the Jeypore Evangelical Lutheran Church; Lutheran Church of Australia

Lord, you came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. Restore all situations in our lives that hurt or discourage us and reassure us of your grace.

We pray for the people of Oman; Pakistan

You reconciled us by your blood and by your wounds we are healed, restore all of us to that health that is yours to give.

Let the faithful departed rest in peace, comfort those who mourn with the promise of resurrection from the dead and bring all of us safely to your Kingdom.

We also praise you for the blessings in our lives, especially the gift you gave us at Calvary.

Almighty God, the giver of all good gifts, in your divine providence you have appointed various orders in your Church: Give your grace, we humbly pray, to all who are called to any office and ministry for your people; and so fill them with the truth of your doctrine and clothe them with holiness of life, that they may faithfully serve before you, to the glory of your great Name and for the benefit of your holy Church; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and
for ever. (Book of Common Prayer 1979)
