Saturday Prayer Requests (St. Monica)

Almighty God, you have surrounded us with a great cloud of witnesses: Grant that we, encouraged by the good example of your servant Monica, may persevere in running the race that is set before us, until at last we may with her attain to your eternal joy; through Jesus Christ, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one
God, for ever and ever. (Book of Common Prayer 1979)

Let us pray to our Risen Lord, who invites us to share in his Resurrection.

As you equipped the apostles to preach the Gospel to all, strengthen your Church to share the Good News.

I may be going to prison, very soon.” This week, please pray for Mark and his family, who are in great pain and fear over the prospect of Mark’s potential incarceration. Pray also for all of the families in our country who are waiting under great stress and anxiety to find out the results of their trials.
