Prayer Requests (14 Pentecost)

Father, we pray for your holy Catholic Church;
That we all may be one.

We pray for our friends in Christ:

Grant that every member of the Church may truly and humbly serve you;

That your Name may be glorified by all people

  • Persecuted Christians in Guinea, Uzbekistan, Egypt
  • Farshid (prisoner for Christ)
  • Villages in the Philippines with religious unrest
  • J,P and D (pastors in a Nanjing, China church), also for co-pastors H,B and J
  • Samuel and Sister S (going to ministry schools)
  • Pastors Mark, Hayshem, Richard

We pray for all bishops, priests, and deacons;
That they may be faithful ministers of your Word and
Sacraments.

In the Anglican Cycle of Prayer, we pray for:

We pray for all who govern and hold authority in the nations of the world;
That there may be justice and peace on the earth.

All areas impacted by wildfires

A situation in San Jose, CA

We also pray for countries of:

Give us grace to do your will in all that we undertake;
That our works may find favor in your sight.

Have compassion on those who suffer from any grief or trouble;
That they may be delivered from their distress

Ben and family (still in CCU after a surgical procedure 2 weeks ago)
Crystal’s mom (torn rotor cuff)
Crystal’s stepdad (lost 2 fingers in an accident)
Crystal (unknown stomach ailment)
Barbara (possible bone marrow cancer, has tuberculosis and lupus), son David (health problems, to get right with God)
Michael (stroke)
Donavon (unable to swallow)
Larry and Dorothy (both battling cancer)
Frankie (having problems after she drinks bottled water)
Lauren (age 8, lymphoma)
Valery (cancer)
Stephanie (recovering from gallbladder surgery and pancreatitis)
Ellen (drug and alcohol addiction)
Ronn (upcoming glaucoma treatment)
Carmy (lump in breast, blood sugar issues, limited resources)
Joey (12, Down’s syndrome, stomach infection)
April, Sarah, John, Sam
Kathleen (recent surgery)
Pastor Ron (minor car accident)
Jackie (complicated heart surgery)
Anna (recently burned her arm, marital difficulties)

Jon (eyesight issues)

Give to the departed eternal rest.
Let light perpetual shine upon them.

Octavio, Keith, Jamar -killed in Afghanistan, pray for their families

We praise you for your saints who have entered into joy;
May we also come to share in your heavenly kingdom.

Grant, O merciful God, that your Church, being gathered together in unity by your Holy Spirit, may show forth your power among all peoples, to the glory of your Name; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
